Paloma Faith once joked about slumming it at festivals "Anywhere you can't wear stilettos just isn't worth going", and so she'll feel perfectly at home in the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall one of Europe's finest art deco buildings. Paloma Faith will be headlining the Hall on the opening night, Wednesday 19th May.

Faith said, "I'm so excited to perform at such a prestigious event; Liverpool is supposed to be the centre of the arts in Britain and that's where I want to be, smack bang in the centre of the arts!"

Two nights later the O2 Academy 2 Liverpool will play host to the other announced headliner 2009's Mercury Music Prize Winner Speech Debelle.

Wave Machines have been confirmed to play the Kazimier on Thursday 20th May and the Korova will also play host to crafty electronica act Gold Panda on Friday 21st May, with guests, Hook and the Twin, from Bristol and dance act Grosvenor.

Tickets for these individual shows will go on sale from 9am on Friday 5th February.
