Kasabian, and The Prodigy are amongst the first acts to be confirmed for Spain's The International Benicàssim Festival, FIB Heineken.

The first acts to be announced are Kasabian, Ian Brown, The Specials, Public Image Ltd. (PiL), Dizzee Rascal, and The Prodigy for the festival which is held near Valencia, in Spain from Thursday 15th until Sunday 20th July.

Festival promoter Vince Power said, "After the huge success of 2009's sold out festival, I'm looking forward to having the same success this year."

As well as this diverse array of musical performers, the festival has an extensive bill of non-musical entertainment, including dance, art, theatre, fashion, silent disco and short films.

With camping thrown in with the ticket price, all night music over 4 days, and sited just walking distance from the beach and a huge water park.

There's the usual markets, bars, and food outlets. Several other celebrations of the arts take place within the Benicassim festival, including a short film festival, a fashion weekend, art exhibition, and a festival of dance and choreography, with educational arts courses on top of all this provided by local university, Universidad Jaume I.
