Tickets on sale for Live Nation's new Playaway festival

Tickets go on sale today at 9am for Live Nation's new nostalgic seaside themed music festival called Playaway held from Friday 16th until Sunday 18th April 2010, at Butlins Resort, in Skegness.

The line-up will include Calvin Harris, Scouting For Girls, Noisettes, I Blame Coco (aka. Coco Sumner aka. Sting's daughter), Tiffany Page, Chase & Status (DJ Set), Sub Focus, MC Rage, ID (DJ), Smash & Grab residents, and Queens of Noize. With plenty more acts still to be added to the bill.

Playaways inspiration is that of a good old fashioned nostalgic seaside jaunts. Think old school British Holiday capers with a twist of contemporary chic. Expect nautical activities, 'Let's get quizzical' with The Sounds Familiar Music Quiz, The Underground Rebel Bingo Club, Swap-a-rama Razzmatazz, an on-site cinema expect themed days and sing-along-Sound of Music with a John Hughes blockbusting bonanza of a Sunday to round things off nicely!
