Amadou & Mariam have revealed that Matt Groening (curator of next year's event) has personally invited them to play All Tomorrows Parties weekend one.

Amadou And Marriam
The pair, whose track 'All I Believe In' is featured on the soundtrack to the new 'Twilight' film 'New Moon' out in cinemas this week, will also perform at HMV Forum on 3rd December.

The popular African band have revealed that they have been personally invited by Matt Groening (curator of next year's event) to perform at All Tomorrow's Parties in May. The duo have also confirmed an appearance at this year's Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo on 11th December.

Co-hosted by Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, the concert will be broadcast to a worldwide audience of millions.

Elsewhere, the duo have been involved in Kofi Annan's global music petition. Created to pressure leaders to agree a climate justice deal at the UN's forthcoming Climate Change Summit in Copenhagen.

The duo have also been named as official ambassadors to the Zeitz Foundation; an organisation created to promote sustainable, ecologically and socially responsible Global Ecosphere Retreats.

The Simpsons creator Matt Groening will curate All Tomorrows Parties and hand pick the artists. The first acts he has chosen for 2010 are Boredoms performing Boadrum, The Raincoats, Toumani Diabate, Danielson (formerly Danielson Family), James Blackshaw, Anni Rossi, and Viv Albertine's Limerence (formerly of The Slits) with many more still to be confirmed.

A room only ticket is priced at £160 per person and a self catering room ticket will be £170. The price is based on people sharing the room.

ATP is running a deposit scheme for tickets. This offers a limited number of 4 berth apartments, both room-only and self-catering to be paid for with a small deposit upfront, and the remaining amount to be paid by the end of January. These chalets are sold at full price - £160 per person room only or £170 per person self catered.

People who would like to hold a 4 berth room only, must pay a deposit of £60 per person, (£240 for the apartment). The remaining £430 must be paid by Sunday 31st January.

People who would like to hold a 4 berth self catering, must pay a deposit of £70 per person, (£280 for the apartment). The remaining £430 must be paid by Sunday 31st January. There will also be a handful of 6 berth room only and self catered available too, contact organisers for details.

All tickets for the three day festival, happening next year from Friday 7th until Sunday 9th May, include 3 nights accommodation. Ticket includes performances starting from mid-afternoon. There are four pubs and DJ sets through till late.

Room Only accommodation offers either double, single or bunk beds with private bathroom and TV, but no kitchen facilities or lounge, more like a hotel room. Self Catering accommodation offers private bathroom, full kitchen facilities and separate lounge area with TV. Tickets are selling fast, and Room Only accommodation is available in 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 berth rooms, and Self Catering accommodation is also available in 4, 6, and 7 berths.
