BLOC Weekend announce Salt N Pepa, and Grandmaster Flash

BLOC Weekend have announced the first acts for the weekend with Salt N Pepa, and Grandmaster Flash amongst the list of confirmed acts.

The full list of the first confirmed acts for 2010 is Salt N Pepa, Grandmaster Flash, Adam Beyer, Skream & Benga, Roots Manuva, Autechre, Ms Dynamite, Wiley, Derrick May, Luke Slater aka Planetary Assault Systems, Lindstrom, Anti-Pop Consortium, Surgeon, Nathan Fake, DJ Joker, and Mark Ernestus feat. Tiki Man (Rhythm & Sound).

One of the leading indoor underground music events BLOC weekend is three days of independent electronic music, held once again at Butlins Resort, Minehead, Somerset from Friday 12 to Sunday 14th March 2010 offering self-catered heated chalet accommodation, with ensuite equipped with beds, kitchen, showers and all mod cons.

Butlins, Minehead is equipped with a supermarket, newsagent, cash points and restaurants. Onsite facilities include a Splash Water World - a sub-tropical environment that has a wave pool, a swimming pool, 3 flumes and also a flume based raft ride, plus ten-pin bowling and an amusement arcade.

Ticket bookings are done per chalet. Tickets have to be bought in groups of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 according to the size of the apartment wanted. 'Self-Catering' apartments have a kitchen and a separate living room, and 'Room-Only' apartments do not. A room only ticket is priced at £140 per person, including festival passes.
