Wild Beasts have been announced as the replacement for the injured Dananananaykroyd at next weekend's Summer Sundae Weekender.

Wild Beasts
Dananananaykroyd have been forced to pull out of their forthcoming festival appearances after drummer John broke his arm in a crowd-diving accident during a show in Australia.

The band were due to play at next Friday's Belladrum festival, and the Summer Sundae Weekender the week after. Wild Beasts have been confirmed to return to Summer Sundae for a second year as a replacement for the band. A statement on the Summer Sundae website (here) says,
"So yes, Dananananaykroyd now cannot play due to injuries sustained whilst in Australia. But never fear - Wild Beasts are here! And they will melt your minds with their brilliance. For evidence of this, just check out their brand new album 'Two Dancers', already being hailed as a classic by some of rock's higher echelons (namely NME and Clash). Seriously good stuff and seriously one of the bands to watch... get them here first!
