V Festival announces line-up for the Virgin Media Union Stage
including The Twang, Mystery Jets, Seth Lakeman, VV Brown, and more

The Twang, The Sunshine Underground, Mystery Jets, Seth Lakeman, and VV Brown, are amongst the latest additions confirmed for the Virgin Media Union Stage at this year's twin V Festivals.

Performing on the stage this year will also be Vagabond, One Eskimo, Kid British, Ray Gun, Iain Archer, Wallis Bird, The Gay Blades, Lights, and Exit Calm.
Festival Director, Bob Angus comments: "This year's Virgin Media Union stage offers a diverse array of acts, genuinely delivering something for everyone. With both old and new faces making appearances the calibre of this years line up is as good as always and reflects the Festival's commitment to offering new talent a stage to perform to a music loving audience."
The line-up has also been announced for the Bowtime Bar which will see performances at both sites from Magic Arm, Plugs, We Have Band, Kissy Sell Out, Two Door Cinema Club, Rogues, Screaming Lights, Soul of Man vs Finger Lickin Disco, Jon Carter, and High Contrast.
Playing at Weston Park only, which will also showcase acts on the Friday, are Itchy Soul Crew, Mean Poppa Lean, Cicada, Barry Ashworth, Mr Paul, Substatic, Disco&Mercy, Tayo, DJ Russell Reid, Slow Club, Goldheart Assembly, Soft Toy Emergency, The Whip (DJ set), and Dekker & Johan.
Whilst Bowtime at Hylands Park will see performances from Paddy Freeform, Ex Lovers, Loz, Real Dolls, Benji Boko, Eddy Temple Morris, Sinden, Dang! DJs, Burn the Negative, and thecocknbullkid.
Other acts playing at V Festival across the weekend include The Killers, Oasis, Razorlight, Keane, The Specials, Snow Patrol, Elbow, The Ting Tings, MGMT, Fatboy Slim, Pendulum, The Script, Paolo Nutini, Lily Allen, The Wombats, The Streets, Biffy Clyro, Katy Perry, James Morrison, Peter Doherty, Happy Mondays, Ocean Colour Scene, The Enemy, Dizzee Rascal, Lady GaGa, James, Alesha Dixon, Taylor Swift, and The Saturdays. More acts will be announced over the coming weeks.

Tickets are priced at £152.50 for a weekend pass with camping, or £132.50 for a weekend pass without camping, or £73.50 for a day ticket. There are only weekend with coach ticket options still available for both events.

The twin-sited V Festival takes place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, Essex and Weston Park, Staffordshire on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd August this year.
