Doves have been announced as another headline act for September's The White Air Extreme Sports Festival.

The indie rockers Doveswill be playing their hits including 'Pounding' and 'Black and White Town' as the Saturday headliner. They are joined by the previously confirmed The Cribs, featuring Johnny Marr, Biffy Clyro, White Lies, British Sea Power, Natty, and The Boxer Rebellion.

The three day event will have two nights of live music on the main live stage and fringe music venues, and parties alongside extreme sports, competitions, and displays such as World High Diving from a 30m tower into a 3m pool, Windsurfing, Thundercats, Jet Skis, Mixed Martial Arts, Scuba Diving, and more.

The festival, now in its 12th year, has moved from Yaverland Beach, on the Isle of Wight to a new home on Brighton Beach and runs from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th September 2009
Limited early bird weekender tickets are now on sale priced at £60 for adults. Student and under 16's tickets are priced at £55. Family tickets are also available.
