Marmaduke Duke, The Blackout and La Roux for Reading & Leeds

Festival Republic Stage line-up announced

The line-up for the Festival Republic Stage at this summer's Reading & Leeds Festivals has been announced with Marmaduke Duke, The Blackout, and La Roux headlining.

Biffy Clyro
Playing their only confirmed UK dates Marmaduke Duke who include Simon Neil of Biffy Clyro and JP Reid of Sucioperro will headline the Festival Republic Stage on Friday at Reading, and Sunday at Leeds. Also on the bill on those days will be Soulsavers featuring Mark Lanegan, and Black Lips.

The Blackout headline Saturday at Readin, and Friday at Leeds with supporting acts including Bring Me The Horizon, and Atreyu.

Sunday at Reading, and Saturday at Leeds sees La Roux headlining with Lightspeed Champion, and The Rumble Strips also confirmed for those days.

The bill for Festival Republic Stage also includes A Day To Remember, A Place To Bury Strangers, Amazing Baby, Baddies, Bear Hands, The Big Pink, Bombay Bicycle Club, Broken Records, The Chapman Family, Detroit Social Club, Fight Like Apes, Go:Audio, and Golden Silvers.

The line-up also sees the addition of Grammatics, Hockey, Hot Rats, Jack's Mannequin, The Joy Formidable, Magistrates, Marina And The Diamonds, Middle Class Rut, and Pulled Apart By Horses.

Organisers have also confirmed the appearances of Skint & Demoralised, The Soft Pack, Soulsavers, Single File, Sweethead, The Temper Trap, Titus Andronicus, and White Denim.

There are also three new additions to the Main Stage with The View, and The Living End playing Leeds on Saturday and Reading on Sunday. Mariachi El Bronx, the alter egos of The Bronx, will play Saturday at Reading, and Friday at Leeds.

The festivals have headliners of Kings Of Leon (Reading Friday/Leeds Sunday), Arctic Monkeys (Reading Saturday/Leeds Friday), and Radiohead (Reading Sunday/Leeds Saturday), with other acts including Kaiser Chiefs, Placebo, The Prodigy, Maximo Park, Ian Brown, Bloc Party, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Vampire Weekend, Gossip, Glasvegas, and many more.

The festival will feature a full line-up of over 150 acts over the weekend on six stages.

Reading and Leeds Festivals which take place on the bank holiday weekend, from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th August. Reading Festival takes place at Little Johns Farm, Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, and Leeds Festival takes place at Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire.

Weekend tickets (which also include camping) are priced at £175, and day tickets are priced at £70 for any day (and do not include camping).
