Entombed, and Akercocke have been voted the fans' favourites to return to the one day Damnation Festival line-up.

Therapy?
The show will mark a UK Exclusive date for Sweden's Entombed who headlined the Terrorizer Stage at the first year of the event in 2005. Akercocke return after topping the same stage in 2006.

Festival director Gavin McInally said: "It's always a coup to land great bands but when they are the bands the fans have requested time and time again and even voted for, it's all the more satisfying to have them back. Entombed were phenomenal in our first year and for many Akercocke were the band of the day in 2006 so there's no doubt they'll be sterling additions to the fifth Damnation Festival."

Damnation Festival is a one-day indoor metal event held over three stages at the University of Leeds Union and happening on Saturday 24th October.

The line-up includesTherapy?, A Storm Of Light, Rotting Christ, Extreme Noise Terror, This Will Destroy You, Minsk, Stand-Up Guy, and the comeback and final farewell of Mistress. The organisers are planning a longer day, doors open at 1pm, with more bands and fewer clashes between the three stages.

Tickets are on sale priced at £29.50. To buy tickets, click here.
