The winning acts were revealed as Healthy Minds Collapse, Yahweh, Washington Irving, and A Band Called Quinn.

The final four were chosen in association with Glasgow venue The Box. Solus promoter Chay said, "I'm really picky because Solus is all about new Scottish music, but its also all about how that reflects on what the Wickerman Festival is all about. The standard was seriously high and there were plenty of entries to get through, so no easy choices were made. I'd like to thank all the bands that got in touch, as well as Stevie McColm and The Box crew for working with me on the last 4. It's going to be a great summer."
The friendly laid-back family orientated festival takes place on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th of July 2009 on farmland, near Dundrennan, South West Scotland.

The Human League will headline the Friday night, The Zutons close the Saturday night, and Candi Staton plays the Sunday night.
