Both exclusives, Carl Cox will be throwing down an old skool set in the Big Top, and Karl Hyde & Rick Smith (Underworld) will perform on the main stage before Kraftwerk's Saturday night headline slot..

They join the line-up of DJ acts that's further bolstered by the addition of Tom Middleton, Krafty Kuts, A Skillz, Jaguar Skills, Heavenly Jukebox, Jaymo & Andy George, Flying White Dots, and Justin Robertson, Foamo.

New additions continue with Feeling Gloomy DJs, Firas, Hijack, Scuba, L-Vis 1990, Rachel Barton, Broken Heart DJs, Lee Mortimer, Michael Cook, Outmode, Paul Trouble Arnold, and The Correspondents all added to the bill..

There's also a host of new live acts confirmed including Mr Hudson and the Library, Vetiver, Paloma Faith, The Field, Skint & Demoralised, Drums Of Death, The Mummers, Black Acid, Dirty Projectors, A Child Rasputin, The Hat, The Big Hairy Band, The Subs, and Natty..

Bestival organiser Rob da Bank said, "Carl Cox and Underworld have both soundtracked my raving years and both have smashed it at Bestival before. I'm grinning like a fool at the prospect of Karl and Rick warming up the Bestival masses before Kraftwerk and Coxy tearing the roof off the Big Top on Sunday night. I'll make sure I'm not DJing at the same time as him this year!"

The space themed Bestival returns to Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight, and happens from Friday 11th until Sunday 13th September 2009 and as well as the music, Bestival also offers cocktail bars, laughter clubs, a farmers market, kids area, morris dancing, magical moments and more, as one of the most colourful events on the festival calendar. Hopefully it will have lovely weather in 2009 too for this, the 'Year Of The Spectacular'.

This year's line-up sees Kraftwerk as the Saturday night headliners, Friday night it's the turn of Massive Attack. MGMT, Soulwax, Fleet Foxes, Seasick Steve, Klaxons, Bat For Lashes, Michael Nyman, The Beat, Squarepusher, The Future Sound Of London, Little Boots, Friendly Fires, Florence & The Machine, Bjorn Again, Fujiya and Miyagi, Metronomy, Dub Pistols, 2manydjs, James Yuill, Diplo, Alix Perez, Annie Mac, Beardyman, Buraka Som Sistema, Major Lazer, Rusko, DJ Derek, DJ Yoda, Fabio & Grooverider, are also confirmed.
