Lightning Seeds, Eddie Reader, and more for GuilFest

plus Subgiant, The Hamsters, Rusko, We Are The Ocean, and more

Lightning Seeds, and Eddi Reader are amongst the new additions to the line-up for this year's GuilFest.

Eddie Reader
Singer and guitarist Ian Broudie will be bringing Lightning Seeds to the Ents24 Stage at GuilFest on the Saturday of the three day festival, with Eddi Reader performing on the same stage that day, and Subgiant, and Wobbly Squadron on Saturday.

Veteran rock trio The Hamsters will play the University of Surrey Main Stage on Sunday, Rusko appears in the The Funky End Dance Tent on Saturday. Chris Liberator is confirmed to play the tent on Friday.

Also confirmed for The Funky Dance Tent are Mood Deluxe (live), Liquid Ross, and Ipcress on Friday, with Nagual Sound Experiment playing his unique style of dubstep on Saturday.

Added to the line up on the Rocksound Rock Cave are We are the Ocean, performing on Friday; Subsource on Saturday; and The Ghost of a Thousand, Hexes, Sharks, and Brotherhood of the Lake all performing on Sunday.

They join a line-up that already features headliners Motorhead, Brian Wilson, and Happy Mondays plus The Wailers, Will Young, The Charlatans, Athlete, The Stranglers, Joe Bonamassa, September, Ironik, Fugative, Nouvelle Vague, Imelda May, Pendulum (DJ set), DJ Yoda, The BossHoss, The King Blues and Eat Static. GuilFest has seven music stages and takes place at Stoke Park, Guildford in Surrey from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th July 2009.

Tickets are priced at £100 for an adult weekend, £110 weekend with camping. For children aged between 12 and 16 years old tickets are priced at £50 for the weekend, or £60 for weekend with camping. N.B. Children between 12 – 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged under 12 have free entry with a ticket holding adult.
