Maike Davies from Radio One's The Lock Up said, "The highlight of my year is always Reading and Leeds. It's the perfect way to end the summer. To be able to be a part of it and have a stage there still blows my mind. We've worked long and we've worked hard to come up with a bill that everyone will enjoy and I think we've done a great job. If you're a fan of punk rock, hardcore, ska and rock'n'roll then you're going to want to get to the tent early and be prepared to spend the whole day/night there. That's how good a line-up it is."

The festivals have headliners of Kings Of Leon (Reading Friday/Leeds Sunday), Arctic Monkeys (Reading Saturday/Leeds Friday), and Radiohead (Reading Sunday/Leeds Saturday), with other acts including Kaiser Chiefs, Placebo, The Prodigy, Maximo Park, Ian Brown, Bloc Party, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Vampire Weekend, Gossip, Glasvegas, and many more.
