    Mystery Jets lead the latest names announced for Summer Sundae Weekender's line-up of eclectic acts entertaining festival goers this August.

    The indie-pop act were looking forward to playing at last year's festival but had to cancel at the last minute due to illness, they are sure to put on quite a show this year.

    Also announced by organisers are Hugh Cornwell, Horace Andy (performing alongside echodeck beatmaker Ashley Beedle), and Brooklyn based Chairlift.

    Port O'brien, Broken Records, Ou Est Le Swimming Pool, Future Of The Left, The Yellow Moon Band, and folk singer John Smith are also set for De Montfort Hall, Leicester.

    Festival organisers have also revealed that they have sold a record number of tickets for this the ninth Summer Sundae Weekender and that day tickets will go on sale on Monday 20th April. A Friday adult day ticket will be priced at £36, adult Saturday or Sunday day tickets will be priced at £42. An adult + child ticket will be priced at £49 (Fri) or £57 (Sat/Sun), there is also an Adult + 2 Children ticket which will be priced at £61 for Friday or £72 for each of the other days.

    Summer Sundae Weekender is a three day family friendly music festival with full camping facilities happening from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th August and offering over 100 acts with an eclectic mix of live bands of all styles and genres over six stages, along with comedy in the eFestivals Comedy Tent.

    Weekend tickets are on sale priced at £102 for an adult ticket or £109 for an adult ticket with camping. An adult and child combination ticket is priced at £136, an adult and child with camping is priced at £143, and an adult with 2 Kids is priced at £170, with an additional £7 for camping.
