A host of new additions have been added to the line-up for this year's T in the Park.

Playing at the festival on Friday in the King Tut's Wah Wah Tent line-up will be post punk Scotsman Edwyn Collins. Making his debut this year, Collins said, "It's exciting to be playing at T in the Park. I've never been there before, but my son and nephews and niece are there every year. They reckon it's about time I got there."

Joining him on the tent's line-up is The Courteeners, Daniel Merriweather, and New York's Regina Spektor.

New additions to the Futures Stage bill include Crystal Castles on Friday , Twin Atlantic and The Hours playing on Saturday, and Little Boots on the Sunday.

Taking to the Radio 1/NME Stage will be Frank Turner. Also confirmed for the T in the Park line-up on Saturday are The Virgins, and Fight Like Apes.

They are the latest additions to a programme that will feature over 180 acts including headliners Kings of Leon, The Killers, Blur, Snow Patrol, and the following The Specials, Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party, Manic Street Preachers, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Katy Perry, Razorlight, Elbow, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Pendulum, Peter Doherty, and White Lies. Tickets for T in the Park 2009 held over the weekend of Friday 10th to Sunday 12th July at Balado, Scotland are priced as follows:

Camping tickets have sold out.
Friday Day Tickets (No Camping) £60.
Saturday or Sunday Day Tickets (No Camping) £72.50
Parking tickets which must be bought in advance £17.50
Campervan ticket £100
Lockers (with phone chargers) £15

The campsite opens on Thursday 9th July which means you can take advantage of an extra day of festival fun with a Thursday camping ticket, which includes entertainment including the campsite cinema screen, and the fairground.

For the first time this year weekend day visitors can come to the Friday of the festival, but only provided that they buy a weekend coach ticket (no camping). The new three day ticket includes day access on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and three return Citylink journeys.
