The DJ duo of Simon Ratcliffe and Felix Buxton who have had hits including 'Red Alert', 'Where's You Head At', 'Good Luck', and 'Oh My Gosh' will be performing their visually stunning headline show with guest singers on the Saturday night of the fifth Wireless festival held in London's Hyde Park.

Londoners Basement Jaxx return to the festival for the first time since playing the event's inaugural year. The band say, "Frank Sinatra once said 'It's very nice to go travelling but it's so much nicer to come home' and he was right. It's going to be a mad summer for us, playing in all four corners of the world, but we are really looking forward to coming back to the very heart of London and playing at Wireless."

The event which offers festival goers four stages of music over two days, Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th July, will also see Mike Skinner and The Streets headlining the second stage on the Saturday. Dizzee Rascal the pioneer of Britain's grime scene is the final act confirmed today for Wireless. The 'Dance Wiv Me' singer makes his festival debut on the main stage on Saturday, and said of his appearance, "I'm really excited about it, to be doing something so big in my hometown - its going to be a good one.."

Following multiple sell outs for Wireless 2008, promoter Steve Homer is looking forward to another year in the heart of London. He said, "Basement Jaxx was where Wireless' reputation for outstanding dance line-ups on the Saturday began and they are very much a significant part of the history of the event. It's a pleasure to welcome them back for what I am sure will be another outstanding performance and to have the likes of Dizzee Rascal and The Streets also on the bill demonstrates the strength of Wireless after five incredible years."

In addition to four stages of music over two days, Wireless 2009 will also have attractions including an acoustic band stand, a fairground, chill out areas, street theatre, performance art, markets, food stalls, beer gardens, secure lockers, and fun games.

A limited number of 'early bird' tickets, priced at £40, will be on sale from Wednesday 18th February at 9am, and eFestivals will have links for to buy them securely then.

Hyde Park is in the heart of London and accessing the festival is easy with a variety of tube lines and bus routes available.
