Julian Velard, Noah and the Whale, and The Bombay Bicycle Club added to The Edge
plus additional support acts, and new talent announced for Edinburgh

The Edge Festival which has replaced T on the Fringe in Edinburgh and takes place across various venues ranging from 250 - 2800 in capacity, from Friday 1st until Wednesday 27th August has announced more artists playing at the event.

The latest additions playing at Cabaret Voltaire include Julian Velard who appears on Thursday 14th August, Noah and the Whale will play on Friday 15th August, and The Bombay Bicycle Club will play the same venue on Tuesday 26th August.

Further additions to the line-up are the support acts for many of the acts playing including Natty who will support Newton Faulkner, Kizzy Star who will support Sergeant and Rachael Unthank who supports Nouvelle Vague at The Liquid Room. Frightened Rabbit are to play a co headlining set with the Twilight Sad on Thursday 14th of August at The Liquid Room.

Emerging Scottish talent will be performing at the Your Sound Showcase on Saturday 16th of August at the Liquid Room, and will feature We See Lights, Wooden Box, Y'all Is Fantasy Island, and Sparrow and the Workshop.

The contemporary music strand to the Edinburgh Festival will feature fifty performances over the festival period with tickets ranging in price from £6 to £17.50.
