The Maccabees, Fightstar, and Tom McRae added to Offset festival plus Glam Chops, Dive Dive, Jake Shillingford, Ghost of a Thousand, and loads more Mon 23rd Jun 08
Offset which takes place in a forest location at Hainault Forest Country Park in Redbridge have announced more acts for the festival which takes place on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st August.
The Maccabees will be performing on the main stage, supporting a yet-to-be-announced headliner. Tom McRae has been confirmed as headlining the 'Colin's Tent' at Offset, alongside artists including Glam Chops (Eddie Argos and David Devant), Dive Dive, Jake Shillingford (My Life Story), The Loves, Mercury Tilt Switch, Fortune Favours, Trademark, Midget, Above Them, Encyclopedia, We Rock Like Girls Don't, Fangs, Your Friends Are Architects, Death Can Dance, Peace Burial At Sea, Redjetson, Chinastyle, Exit Calm, House Of Brothers, Alan Burgess, Le Reno Amps, Klaus Says Buy The Record, Brotherhood Of Knives (Jonny Green: ex Glitterbox), and Violet Violet.
The first acts for the line-up over two days at the Rock Stage have been announced and include Fightstar, Brigade, Ghost of a Thousand, Slaves to Gravity, Cry for Silence, Exit Ten, Enjoy Destroy, Tonight is Goodbye, XCerts, Furthest Drive Home, Saving Aimee, My Passion, and Who Owns Death TV (Ex Million Dead).
New additions to the Last.fm Presents bill include Slow Club, Silje Nes, The Oscillation, and Honkeyfinger.
Added to the line-up at The Experimental Circle Club stage are live acts including Prinzhorn Dance School (DFA Records), Ulterior, The Violets, Neils Children, Micron63, S.I.N.S, I am the Arm, ErrorOrchestra, Cementimental, Futurism vs Passeism, and Eve Black/Eve White.
Some of the DJ line-up for The Experimental Circle Club have also been announced with names like Oliver Blitz (Junk Club), El Bizzaro, Heidi Heelz, Ben UFO, *Noise, The Junkettes (Madrid), and Where to Now? all confirmed.
Offset festival comes from the team behind TMF Rock Festival and will have 7 stages of music with a license for 10,000 and over 150 bands and DJs. For the line-up details as available please click here.
There stages include a dance tent, new bands stage, an acoustic and rock tent. there will also be a full funfair, organic food, traders village, art and a dedicated kids area.
