Summer Sundae Weekender Summer Sundae Weekender 2008 Summer Sundae Weekender have announced more acts for 2008, adding to the line-up of eclectic entertainment at De Montfort Hall and Gardens, Leicester from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th August.
The latest press adverts include former Cast guitarist and ex-bass player with The La's John Power, Calgary punk rock folk/blues band Agnostic Mountain Gospel Choir, and Bath raw rock 'n rollers The Heavy.
The acts so far confirmed are headliners Supergrass, and The Coral – Acoustic Set, with support acts including Simian Mobile Disco - Live, Roisin Murphy, Whitest Boy Alive, Lightspeed Champion, Reverend And The Makers, Henry Rollins, José González, Joan As Police Woman, Howling Bells, Dodgy, Tom Baxter, King Creosote, Of Montreal, Nina Nastasia, Jeffrey Lewis, Rachel Unthank, Dengue Fever, The Count & Sinden, Dirty Projectors, James Yorkston & The Athletes, Royworld, and more.
