The Raconteurs have been added to this year's Eden Sessions 2008 and will be headlining the evening of Sunday 29th June 2008. Tickets for the event cost £33 plus £4 booking fee, include free entrance to the project and will go on sale at 6pm on Wednesday 30th April.
The American band, whose members include The White Stripes' Jack White joins the previously confirmed The Verve, KT Tunstall, and a sell out Kaiser Chiefs performance for this summer's shows the Eden Project, St Austell in Cornwall later this summer.
Peter Hampel, Eden's Creative Director, said: "The Raconteurs come with a great reputation as one of the top bands in the U.S. We are delighted that Jack White and his all-star band have agreed to join this year's line-up in what will be a great weekend of live music with The Verve at the end of June."
There are still to be a couple more names for the other Sessions which The Eden Project holds annually.
