It has been confirmed by Left Field organisers that Alabama 3 will be headlining Glastonbury Festival's Left Field stage on Friday 27th June in a night which will highlight and support the Miscarriages of Justice Organisation (MOJO).

MOJO is a human rights organisation set up by Paddy Hill of the Birmingham Six and John McManus and is dedicated to assisting innocent people both in prison and after their release. Further special guests and high-profile speakers are promised for the MOJO night at Glastonbury's Left Field.

Larry Love from Alabama 3 said, "We have always felt privileged to be associated with Paddy Hill and MOJO. Not only have they inspired our music but they've consistently proved that with integrity, passion and intelligence you can make a difference. Hopefully Alabama 3 can inspire people to dance and get everyone's MOJO working."

Alabama 3 are also working with the Glastonbury Left Field team on a Rock Against Racism show at the Brixton Academy on Wednesday 30th April alongside Misty in Roots, the Levellers, Tom Robinson, The Thirst and Tony Benn which will mark the 30th Anniversary of the famous Rock Against Racism Carnival.

John McManus from MOJO said, "Since music is so often an intrinsic expression of freedom and hope, then there can be no better place to raise awareness about MOJO's work than at this years Glastonbury. We are delighted to have been invited to the Friday night slot at this years Left Field tent."
