Wireless Festival Wireless Festival 2008 Making their only UK headline performance, the Californian folk-rockers Counting Crows have been announced as the headline act for the Sunday at the Wireless Festival in Hyde Park, London held from Thursday 3rd to Sunday 6th July.
Also announced to play on the Sunday is Los Angeles-born urban acoustic singer/songwriter Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, and, Australian alternative rockers Powderfinger.
Already confirmed as the headliner for Saturday is Fatboy Slim, with Underworld, and Bootsy Collins And The Rubber Band, already confirmed to play the event. Fatboy Slim has hinted that there will also be an appearance by Mark Ronson.
Tickets are on sale today from 9am today for the Saturday and are available at a special ‘Early Bird’ price of £40 for a limited period only, to buy your tickets click here.
Attendees at the event now in its fourth year can expect popular acts on all three stages. The festival will probably also have an acoustic band stand, a fairground, chill out areas, street theatre, performance art, markets, food caterers, a five aside football pitch and lockers are available on site at a cost of £6 a day.
