The festival which offers festival goers a three day celebration of electronic music and culture is still confirmed as running from Thursday 16th until Sunday 19th July. Although the location will remain a secret, the festival organisers are looking at new sites in Southern England after restrictions were set by Berkshire Council about keeping down the sound levels.

Ans Guise who is the Glade's Marketing Director explained exclusively to eFestivals, "We're looking at a couple of places in the south of England that fulfil our needs... though haven't signed off on anything and are keeping our options open for now. We are buzzing with excitement and are looking forward to being able to run the stages later, longer and louder with a move away from those big cavernous tents to an even more intimate, diverse and village-like festival with more art, performance and general absurdity...'

Although none of the line-up for 2009 is confirmed yet, a few details of plans for next year's event have been revealed. Next year the festival will have a more intimate feel as well as a return of the outdoor main 'Glade' stage, there will be many more small stages, and fewer large tents. The first line-up announcement is due early in the new year. All the usual Glade favourites like Overkill, Origin and the Breaks Tent will be making a return, as will the market sound systems and cafes.

The exact details of the site will only be revealed to ticket holders, with the capacity capped at 12,500 again this year. Expect full camping facilities, car parking, licensed bars open until late, food stalls and markets, and more besides.

Tickets are on sale, priced at £125. There is also a £50 deposit per ticket option with the balance paid in March 2009. Student Tickets are available until 31st January 2009. The Glade will have a separate queue where each ticket holder will have to show Student ID. Without an ID the balance of £26 will have to be paid. Camper Van Tickets are available at a price of £45.

The organisers are determined to stop touting, so a name and address must be supplied for each ticketholder, and ID will be required at the gate.
