The BBC Electric Proms festival which happens from Wednesday 22nd to Sunday 26th of October has revealed that Justice and the Arctic Monkeys will have their films premiered exclusively at the BBC Electric Proms. Justice will have their film shown in London, whilst Arctic Monkeys' film will premiere in Liverpool.

The Justice film is called 'A Cross the Universe' and is a no-holds barred documentary about life on the road during French DJ duo's recent North American tour. They were inspired by the idea that without anyone to film you twenty-four/seven, no one will believe what you tell them. The teaser for the film is available online exclusively at the Electric Proms website from today.

Justice and the directors will be on hand to introduce the film, at this FREE event held at London's Koko on Saturday 25 October followed by a very special pre-clubbing DJ set by Justice and other Ed Banger DJs. The film will be released on DVD with a live CD on Monday 24th November.

Arctic Monkeys
'Arctic Monkeys At The Apollo' will also receive its Liverpool premiere with a FREE screening Screen 2, FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology) as part of the BBC Electric Proms. This live performance film features the last gig in the band's 2007 world tour, shot at their Manchester Apollo show. It was directed by Richard Ayoade (regular Warp Films music video director and actor from The Mighty Boosh and The I.T. Crowd). The film will be screened on 1 day only in cinemas nationwide on Friday 24th October, and in Liverpool with Electric Proms. It will be released on DVD on Monday 3rd November 2008.

Over 60 acts will be playing as part of the 2008 BBC Electric Proms - including performances from Burt Bacharach, Keane, XX Teens, and Africa Express in London and Razorlight, Milanese, Last Shadow Puppets and Tony Christie in Liverpool. For the line-up details as available please

In London, shows will return to venues across Camden including the Roundhouse, Barfly, KOKO, Dingwalls, Proud Galleries, and the Electric Ballroom. The festival features separate line-ups in the two cities.
