Swn Festival adds Eugene McGuinness, and Johnny Foreignerplus many more including Golden Silvers, Voluntary Butler Scheme, and Amazing BabyTuesday 30th September 2008More bands have been announced for the second annual Swn Festival which takes place in over a dozen venues in Cardiff, Wales from Friday 14th until Sunday 16th November 2008 (with opening night party on 13th November). Other acts newly added to the line-up include MC Saizmundo, Derwyddon Dr Gonzo, Yucatan, John Mouse, Y Diwygiad, Yr Ods, MC Mabon (DJ Set), Zail, Cate Le Bon, Ectogram, Klaus Kinski, The Stilletoes, Evils, PSI, Vito, James St James, The Fuzz Birds, Sild, Yellow Moon Band, Richard James, Camera, Mac, Blue Wall, Jen Jeniro, Metabeats (DJ), Beatbox Fozzy, Colorama, Dead Residents, Chrome Kids, Fernhill, Silence At Sea, Mr Huw, Telegram From The Queen, and Cyrion.
From the Thursday evening to Sunday night, there'll be music in Cardiff's venues from across Wales and from around the world, and other events confirmed for the festival include a silent disco, cinema, scrabble swnday, Sleeveface workshops and art exhibitions from Mark James, Llyr Pierce, Sleeveface and Clwb Ifor Bach's 25th anniversary. There will also be three days of music conferences, talks and workshops from Thursday 13th until Sunday 16th November. Swn buses will operate throughout the festival, allowing wristband holders to get from venue to venue for free and Swn Festival also gives free programmes and timetables to all.
