The Big Chill held from Friday 1st until Sunday 3rd August at Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire has confirmed that The Orb are to play a top slot at The Big Chill 2008.

The chilled out electronic outfit will play the Castle Stage following the withdrawal of Fat Freddy's Drop, who have pulled out of their European tour due to recording commitments.

This is an opportunity for acoustic performers, buskers, orchestras, rappers and any musical genre to serenade festival-goers on arrival to the site. To enter the auditions entrants must send MP3 submissions to buskers@bigchill.net. The winners will perform two forty-minute sets across the weekend, with 10 slots in total up for grabs.
