Green Man completes line-up with Junior Boys

The Green Man Festival which takes place from Friday 15th to Sunday 17th August in the Brecon Beacons, Powys, Wales has announced the final acts to complete this year's line-up.

Canada's Junior Boys, the lead singer of Gomez Ben Ottewell, North Sea Radio Orchestra, Claire Maguire, Swanton Bombs, Wildbirds & Peacedrums, and Norfolk quartet Sennen complete the music line-up across the three live stages.

There are also more artists confirmed for the Rumpus Room with DJ sets from Sean Rowley, Heavenly Jukebox, Eddy Temple-Morris, Time and Space Machine feat. Richard Norris, Cherrystones, Justin Spear (Freakzone) and Pete Fowler, B-Music feat. Andy Votel, David Holmes, and Chris Geddes (Belle and Sebastian) and Dom Thomas. Finally for that maudlin moment Feeling Gloomy the Club that brings a tear to your eye have also been added.

They join the artists on a bill which includes Spiritualized as the Friday headliner, Super Furry Animals the Saturday headliner, The Peth, Pentangle, Iron and Wine, The National, Richard Thompson and Howlin' Rain (featuring members of Comets On Fire and Sunburned Hand of the Man), Devon Sproule, Black Mountain, Nina Nistasia, and School Of Language amongst a host of other names. Returning this year will be the campfire ceilidhs, a second stage and DJ tent. The festival will be remaining the same size as in 2007, at 10,000 people. The festival offers plenty of live music with lots of folk and folktronica bands, plus film in a cinema tent, literature, healing area, workshop and children's areas, and DJs.

The festival also has a children's area set in a Victorian Walled Garden, a Literature Tent, Folk Exchange (open mic sessions), Eco housing, organic produce, and a new End Up Bar.

Tickets are priced at £105 for the weekend including on-site camping and parking, with children aged 12 and under free. Live-in vehicles are an additional £35. Click here to buy.
