Oxegen announces The Wombats, Amy Macdonald, and more

including Little Man Tate, Alphabeat, Glasvegas, and Eddy Grant

There are more new additions to the line-up for Oxegen, Ireland's annual multi-stage music festival at Punchestown Racecourse, Naas held over three days from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th July.

The new additions , who will be playing on Friday 11th July are Amy Macdonald, Ben Folds, Sugababes, Mundy, Captain, Aslan, God Is An Astronaut, White Denim, Friendly Fires, The Metros, Noah & the Whale, Sparkadia, Bryn Christopher, Liam Finn, and Leopold.

Saturday will see performances from The Wombats, Little Man Tate, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Jack McManus, Elliot Minor, Royworld, Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong, Alphabeat, Ida Maria, Yeasayer, Holy Fuck, Mindless Self Indulgence, Cage the Elephant and Sergeant.

Whilst the new acts confirmed for Sunday are The Blizzards, Eddy Grant, Republic of Loose, We Are Scientists, Jack Penate, The Hold Steady, Los Campesinos, Cajun Dance Party, Flogging Molly, Fight Like Apes, Glasvegas, David Jordan, The Script, Twisted Wheel, In Case Of Fire, Jaguar Love, and White Lies.

They join the previously confirmed bands that include Rage Against the Machine, The Verve, Stereophonics, Amy Winehouse, Manic Street Preachers, The Kooks, Seasick Steve, The Pogues, Editors, Newton Faulkner, Kate Nash, The Zutons, The Charlatans, The Hoosiers, Scouting for Girls, Richard Hawley, Roisin Murphy, Pendulum, Bowling For Soup, Aphex Twin, Alabama 3, Hot Chip, Chemical Brothers, Justice, Interpol, The Fratellis, Counting Crows, Ian Brown, The Raconteurs, Kaiser Chiefs, Kings of Leon, and R.E.M, with UNKLE, Justice and David Guetta dance headliners, plus there are many more confirmed. Tickets for Oxegen have completely sold out.

The campsite will open on the Thursday this year, but with Thursday night camping costing an extra €20. Campers can get a free onsite parking ticket with every four camping tickets purchased.

You must have an OXEGEN parking ticket and OXEGEN camping tickets in order to park at the OXEGEN site.

NOTE:- AGE RESTRICTIONS. Strictly 17s and over only - ID required and will be checked vigorously before entry. Under 17's will only be admitted if accompanied by guardian/friend/relative 25 years or over who will sign for and accept responsibility for said person. Policy will be strictly enforced - persons who purchase and ignore conditions will be refused entry with NO refund.
