The Lake Stage, curated by Radio 1 DJ Huw Stephens, has announced the acts playing at Latitude Festival held at Henham Park Estate in Suffolk and happening from Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th July.

The lakeside setting will showcase a selection of talent including on Friday the Scottish indie-electro group Errors who will be headlining. Supporting them will be London folktronica artist James Yuill, Indie pop three piece Johnny Foreigner, folk/hip artist Gideon Conn, and Oxford experimentalists Jonquil.

On Saturday at the Lake Stage the headliners will be local Suffolk boys Cheeky Cheeky and the Nosebleeds. On the same day the stage will also host performances from Leeds' Sky Larkin, Brighton rockers This City, Rob Jones aka The Voluntary Butler Scheme, indie punk outfit The Kabeedies, and London's Swanton Bombs.

The Wave Pictures head up the line-up on the last day. Sunday will also have Thecocknbullkid and her bleeping sample-led dance funk, and Nottingham upstarts Lovvers.

Speaking of his involvement with Latitude, Huw Stephens said, "Latitude, as well as being in an idyllic location with so many different things going on, has a huge emphasis on quality new music. It's to be found on all the stages in different ways, but the Introducing music on the Lake Stage is like the first crop of new music, freshly squeezed and a lot of the time playing a festival for the first time. The emphasis is on quality, ideas, freshness and making sure it is an intriguing mix of the good stuff."

They are the latest additions to an extensive bill of acts headlined by Franz Ferdinand, Sigur Ros, and Interpol with other acts like Julian Cope, Martha wainwright, British Sea Power, Blondie, Death Cab For Cutie, Seasick Steve, Crystal Castles, Elbow, The Breeders, Amadou And Mariam, and M.I.A. Latitude is much more than a music festival. This year's Latitude has the involvement of BAFTA in the Film and Music Arena; a comedy line-up including Omid Djalili, Ross Noble, Frankie Boyle, Rich Hall and Simon Amstell in the Comedy Arena.

The Literary Arena is packed full of top authors including Simon Armitage, Hanif Kureishi and Iain Banks as well as Latitude favourites Vox ‘N’ Roll, WordTheatre and Marcus Brigstocke's The Early Edition.

The National Theatre, The Hammersmith Lyric, Royal Court Theatre, RSC, Paines Plough, nabokov and The Bush all bring new shows to the Theatre Arena. Plus poets Adrian Mitchell, John Hegley and Carol Ann Duffy are all confirmed for the Poetry Arena hosted by Luke Wright.

Also at the festival for the first time is Sadler's Wells Theatre who will be presenting Wayne McGregor/Random Dance, Gauri Sharma Tripathi and Boy Blue Entertainment on a specially designed stage at sunset on the lake at Latitude. Also appearing there will be The Irrepressibles with their orchestral brilliance.

A weekend ticket is priced at £130 and children under thirteen are free, but need tickets. Friday, Saturday or Sunday day tickets are available priced at £55.
