Reading & Leeds announce Lock Up, and Dance stage line-ups

plus more for other stages too including CSS, Jack Penate, Seasick Steve, Gallows, and BSP

Reading and Leeds festivals have announced the latest additions to the line-ups for the twin festival taking place on the bank holiday weekend, from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th August.

The Main Stage at Reading on the Saturday and Leeds on the Sunday now has the additions of British Sea Power, and The Automatic. The Main Stage at Reading on the Sunday and Leeds on the Friday will also now see an appearance by Alexisonfire.

The Radio 1/NME at Reading on the Friday and Leeds on the Saturday now also has Jack Penate, One Night Only, The Duke Spirit, Be Your Own Pet, Blood Red Shoes, and Make Model added to the line-up.

The Radio 1/NME at Reading on the Saturday and Leeds on the Sunday has the following additions Seasick Steve, The Ting Tings, The Mystery Jets, Santogold, Joe Lean And The Jing Jang Jong, Kids In Glass Houses, and Bombay Bicycle Club.

On the Lock Up Stage at Reading on the Friday and Leeds on the Saturday are: headlining Less Than Jake, Pennywise, special guests who are yet to be announced, Goldfinger, The Unseen, H20, Frank Turner, The Loved Ones, and Hexes.

On the Radio Lock Up Stage at Reading on the Saturday and Leeds on the Sunday will be Gallows, Alkaline Trio, Thrice, Flogging Molly, MXPX, The Cancer Bats, Set Your Goals, King Blues, Fucked Up, The Gaslight Anthem, Hi Fi Handgrenade, and Random Hand.

New additions to the bill playing on the Radio 1/NME Stage at Reading on the Sunday and Leeds on the Friday are The Music, Hadouken, Lightspeed Champion, Cajun Dance Party, Adam Green, Yeasayer, and The Metros.

Lastly this year's dance stage has been revealed for the Sunday at Reading and the Friday at Leeds and includes CSS, Digitalism, Simian Mobile Disco, Chromeo, Crystal Castles, Lethal Bizzle, Holy Fuck, The Whip, Robots In Disguise, and The Shoes.

These are just the latest additions to a line-up of over 150 acts over the weekend on six stages. The Main Stage sees Rage Against The Machine, The Killers, and Metallica headlining. Plus Queens Of The Stone Age, The Fratellis, The Enemy, Biffy Clyro, Bloc Party, The Raconteurs, Editors, Tenacious D, Slipknot, Feeder, Avenged Sevenfold, Dropkick Murphys, Babyshambles, The Wombats, Vampire Weekend, Manic Street Preachers, Bullet For My Valentine, The Cribs, and Pendulum. Tickets have sold out. The price for a ticket was £155 for the 3 days with camping, day tickets are £65, campervans £10, lockers £15, and early entry tickets £10.

Reading Festival takes place at Little Johns Farm, Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, and Leeds Festival takes place at Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire. Both festivals happen on Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th August.
