Glade festival adds more names before tickets on sale tomorrow

Dubfire, Jeff Mills, Pendulum, Frequency 7, James Holden, Plump DJs and more this year

The Glade Festival which takes place from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th July at a secret site has announced much of the line-up for this year's event before tickets go on sale tomorrow.

The Glade Stage will be headlined by Dubfire and Pendulum with other artists appearing over the weekend including James Holden, System 7, Dub Pistols, The Grid, Atomic Hooligan, Gaudi Live Dub Laboratory, Meat Katie, Dreadzone,Utah Saints, DJ Friction, Pathaan, ddie Temple Morris, Subgiant, and Quiet Village.

The Vapor Stage plays host to Jeff Mills, Frequency 7, Slam Live, Paul Woolford, and Jim Masters.

Lining up for the Origin Stage are Ace Ventura, Allaby, Aphid Moon, Beatnik, Dickster, Dimitri Nakov, Edoardo, Fearsome Engine, First Stone, Emok, Flip Flop, Headroom, Laughing Buddha, Logic Bomb, Perfect Stranger, Protoculture, Regan, and Zen Mechanics.

The Breaksday Stage will be headlined by Plump DJs, Aquasky, and Elite Force with support from Andrea Lai, Beat Assassins, Ben & Lex, Bodysnatchers, Ctrl Z, Drummatic Twins, Flore, High Eight, James Gill, Jay Cunning & Atomic Hooligan, Klaus Hill, Lady Waks, Madox, Marcus B, Noisia, Peter Paul, Quest & MC Ken Mac, Rico Tubbs, Slinky, and Steve Thorpe.

The Overkill Stage will see performances from Autechre, Bass Clef, Black Rabbit, Cassette Boy, Current Value, Daedulus, DJ Distance, Droon, Electromeca, Rotator, Sick Boy, The Bug, Tobias Schmidt, Tomb Crew, and Vex'd with a Japan Invasion led by Bogulta, DJ Scotch Egg, Dokkebi Q, Marousa, and Ove-NaXx.

Acts confirmed for the Liquid stage are Abakus, Bonze, Braincell, Far Too Loud, Fromem Ory, iLS, Ital Tek, Jon Kenobi, Kana, Kuba, Liquid Ross vs Natzan, Orchid Star, Simon Pieman, Sketchy Pimps, Subsource, Yab Yum, and ZubZub.

The Glade has around ten music areas, so there are still more names to come yet. The stages cover many genres from techno, house, breaks, psy trance, dub, ambient and more. Expect the stages to open each day by early afternoon, and to run into the early hours.

The details of the site will only be revealed to ticket holders. Expect full camping facilities, car park, licenced bars open until late, food stalls and markets, and more besides.

Tickets will go on sale on tomorrow (Thursday 20th March), expect them to sell out quickly.

The organisers are determined to stop touting, so a name and address must be supplied for each ticketholder, and ID will be required at the gate.
