American loud-mouth rap-rocker Kid Rock makes his first ever appearance at the Download Festival which takes place takes place over the weekend of Friday 13th to Sunday 15th June 2008.
Joining him in rockin' the crowds at Donington Park, Leicestershire are the Orange County US metalcore titans Bleeding Through. Plus Throwdown will be delivering their southern metal riffage and signature growl, Brit alt-rockers The Subways will be bringing their energy and Michigan death metallers Black Dahlia Murder will contribute their hard, fast and furious metal.
These latest acts fill out a bill headlined by Kiss, The Offspring, and Lost Prophets, with Judas Priest, Motörhead, HIM, In Flames, Coheed & Cambria, Incubus, Disturbed, Rise Against, Chris Cornell, Jimmy Eat World, Korn frontman Jonathan Davis, 36 Crazyfists, Job For A Cowboy, Alter Bridge and Children of Bodom also appearing. There are still many more names to come yet with three main stages to fill.
