a convenient gap in her new tour Wed 28th Nov 07 Kylie has just announced her "KYLIEX2008" tour to promote the release of her new album “X” (released this week), and there's a convenient gap for Glastonbury Festival in the schedule. However, eFestivals isn't too sure that too much can be taken from this. There's many similar gaps in the schedule, and all of them could be nothing more than Kylie not wanting to push herself too much, though it's likely that there'll be extra shows added into some of these spaces. But with Kylie having had to pull out of performing at Glastonbury in 2005 due to illness, there's still expectation that she'll be seen on Worthy Farm at some point. If she does play, expect her to be the closing act on the Sunday (29th June). The full tourdates are as follows:- Tue 6th May: Paris Bercy Wed 7th May: Antwerp Sportpaleis Fri 9th May: Stuttgart Schleyerhalle Sat 10th May: Frankfurt Festhalle Mon 12th May: Prague Sazka Wed 14th May: Vienna Stadthalle Thu 15th May: Budapest Sports Arena Tue 27th May: Cologne Arena Thu 29th May: Münich Olympiahalle Sat 7th Jun: Hamburg Colorline Arena Sun 8th Jun: Copenhagen Forum Tue 10th Jun: Oslo Spektrum Wed 11th Jun: Stockholm Globe Fri 13th Jun: Helsinki Hartwell Sun 22th Jun: Berlin Velodrom Mon 23th Jun: Rotterdam Ahoy Thu 26th Jun: Belfast Odyssey Arena Fri 27th Jun: Belfast Odyssey Arena Sat 5th Jul: Glasgow S.E.C.C. In 2007, eFestivals was first to say who the headliners were, and we had every act but one correct for the main stage (which were copied word-for-word by the likes of nme.com and others), every act for the Jazzworld stage, plus hundreds of other acts all listed correctly long before the official line-up announcement. Glastonbury Festival 2008 will take place from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th June, with the gates opening on Wednesday 25th. Details on how to purchase Glastonbury tickets are expected to be announced early in the new year. published: 12:45 (GMT)
