Ireland's Oxegen festival, which takes place at Punchestown Racecourse, Naas, Co Kildare has announced that it's expanding to three days in 2008.
The dates are confirmed as Friday 11th to Sunday 13th July. 'Early bird' tickets will go on sale next Friday 30th November, with these tickets available at the same price as 2007 - €197.50 - and getting three days for the price of two. If booking four tickets, there's also a free car park space available for every four tickets booked.
Also new is the campsite opening on the Thursday night for early arrivals. Camping on the Thursday night will cost an extra €20. For the first time ever, campers can choose which campsite they want to set up camp in for the weekend - Campsite Red or Campsite Blue.
Keen to encourage festival goers to make Oxegen as green as possible, the festival is urging fans to use public transport when travelling to Oxegen. Dublin Bus and Marathon Travel will be providing a range of shuttle services and advance tickets will be available to all ticket-holders well ahead of Oxegen 2008.
No acts are confirmed - the first acts will be announced in February.
