GuilFest, which takes place at Stoke Park, Guildford, Surrey from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th July has announced more acts.
It's a Wonderful World, Beautiful People - proving that You Can Get It If You Really Want and Give The People What They Want (enough! - ed), playing on the Main Stage on the Saturday is reggae legend Jimmy Cliff.
Also newly confirmed are ex-Ash guitarist Charlotte Hatherley who plays the ents24 stage on the Friday, The New York Fund, and Lights. Action! who both play the Rocksound Cave on the Saturday, and Eskimo Brit, The Four Last Things, and Joker In The Pack are all added to the Surrey Advertiser Liveclub Stage on the Friday.
They all join acts including headliners Supergrass, Squeeze, & Madness, plus The Ordinary Boys, Morcheeba, The Magic Numbers, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Crazy P, Toots and the Maytals, The Hold Steady, Thirteen Senses, The Dub Pistols (with Terry Hall), Sandi Thom, and more - click here for the full details to-date.
GuilFest 2007 will feature more than 200 great acts, which will be announced over the coming weeks. There's also the eFestivals Cosmic Comedy Tent, children’s entertainment, street theatre, art and crafts, delicious food from around the world and a truly festive atmosphere. There will also be a late licensed 150 foot beer tent and cocktail bar, an extensive KidZone and lots of clean toilets throughout the site and camping areas.
Tickets are on sale, priced at:-
Adults: £40 day, £90 weekend, £100 weekend with camping.
Children between 12–16 years old £30 day, £50 weekend, £60 weekend with camping. N.B. Children between 12 – 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Children aged under 12 have free entrance with ticket holding adult.
Camper vans tickets are £80 and can only be used in conjunction with an adult with camping ticket.
