Leeds Festival, which takes place from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th of August, has announced the acts set to play this year's Topman Unsigned Stage.

The bands all hail from the North of England, Midlands and Scotland, and will get the chance to play infront of a potentially huge crowd.

The bill was drawn together by Mean Fiddler, BBC’s Raw Talent (a radio show for unsigned acts in the North of England), and Sandman Magazine.

A spokeperson for Topman said of the return of the Unsigned Stage: “Topman have always strived to nurture and support young and emerging talent both in fashion and music. Our stores have the most progressive new music playlist on the high street and host in-store DJ sets by new bands and artists

There's more good news if you arrive on site on Thursday. The Topman Unsigned Stage will become the home for Leeds label Dance To The Radio, and will feature performances from Forward Russia, The Wallbirds, Sky Larkin, Shut Your Eyes & You’ll Burst Into Flames, and Grammatics.

The unsigned acts gracing the stage on Friday will be Scaramanga Six, Working For A Nuclear Free City, Lights Action, Redeye, Carlis Star, Kni9hts, Piskie Sits, and Whisky Cats.

Appearing on Saturday will be Middleman, Sky Larkin, Grammatics , Twisted Wheel, The Idlers, Hayashi, The Aeroplanes, Baby Long Legs, and Neil Mcsweeney.

Finally on Sunday the stage will play host to the following bands: Random Hand, The Talks, The Swing Movement, The Neat, Screaming Mini, This Floating World, Kill Surf City, Bone Box, and The Gentlemen.

Leeds Festival takes place at Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorks, and features performances from Smashing Pumpkins, Razorlight, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Most of the acts now confirmed, see here for the details.
