Russell Brand has been forced to cancel his performance at the Reading Festival on Sunday 27th due to severe laryngitis and under doctor’s orders.
The View have also replaced The Organ on the Carling Stage (Saturday 26th August at Reading, and Sunday 27th August at Leeds), and Story of the Year have pulled out of both Reading and Leeds.
Mark Steel has been announced to headline the Comedy and Cabaret Tent at Reading on Sunday August 27th. He will be on stage at 3.40pm.
The Carling Weekend: Reading Festival takes place at Little Johns Farm, Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, and The Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival takes place at Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire. Both festivals happen on Friday 25th to Sunday 27 August.
