T in the Park T in the Park 2006

A rumour emerged earlier today that Kasabian, who performed on the Radio 1/NME stage at T in the Park last year, may make a special appearance at this year's festival.

eFestivals heard rumours this afternoon that a secret performance by a fairly large band might be taking place this year.

As if by coincidence BBC 3 have listed Kasabian as performing on the Sunday night at the festival. If this is the case then we expect them to headline the Pet Sounds Arena above Death Cab for Cutie on the Sunday night.

Kasabian are already confirmed for the V Festival in August.

T in the Park happens this coming weekend, and eFestivals will have exclusive reviews and photos of all the fun.
