T in the Park T in the Park 2006

T in the Park - takes place at Balado, nr Kinross in Scotland on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th July - has announced more acts for four of the stages, making the line-up for this year nearly complete.

Added to the Main Stage on the Sunday are Fightstar.

New for the Radio 1/NME Stage on the Saturday are The Zutons, and Bell X1, while added for the Sunday are Morning Runner, Captain, and Breaks Co-op.

Newly confirmed for the King Tut’s Tent on the Saturday are Orson, Guillemots, and The Rifles, while Gomez, Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins, Kubb, and Mobile join the Sunday line-up.

And finally, newly announced for the Pet Sounds Arena are Divine Comedy, The Levellers, Xavier Rudd, Donovan Frankenreiter, and Seth Lakeman on the Saturday, and Zero 7, My Latest Novel, and The Spinto Band are all added to the Sunday.

This years line-up includes headliners Red Hot Chili Peppers, and The Who, plus Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, Hard Fi, The Proclaimers, Richard Ashcroft, Kaiser Chiefs, Sigur Ros, Primal Scream, The Ordinary Boys, Belle & Sebastian, The Charlatans, Placebo and more - click here for the full details to date. There's still a few more acts to be confirmed.

The tickets for T in the Park sold out in record time of less than an hour, but some more tickets are due to go on sale at 9am on Saturday 3rd June. The tickets available will be day tickets only and will be priced at £56.50 each. There will be links here to buy tickets on Saturday.
