V Festivals V Festival (Chelmsford) 2006 Tickets went on sale at 9am today for V Festival, and the official word is that it was completely sold out for both sites in less than three hours - a new record.
Festival Director, Bob Angus commented: “As delighted as we are that the festival has sold out, we are not shocked that it has happened so quickly, it really is testament to the line up we’ve managed to secure this year. V has grown massively in the last few years and we’re very very proud of it.”
However, Way Ahead is still saying there are some available here (some day tickets, and some tickets as part of a coach package).
Acts performing over the weekend include headliners Radiohead, and Morrissey, plus Faithless, Beck, Kasabian, Paul Weller, Keane, Editors, Groove Armada, Bloc Party, Fatboy Slim, The Charlatans, The Ordinary Boys, The Go! Team, The Magic Numbers, Hard-Fi, Rufus Wainwright, Kubb and The Feeling and many more.
