Wickham Festival - which until last year was called Eastleigh Festival, but has now moved to nearby Wickham (hence the name change) - has announced Sparks to play for them on the Friday night.

Playing at Ferneham Halls in nearby Fareham (about a mile away) as opposed to on the 'normal' festival stages in Wickham, Sparks will perform their concert in two halves. The first half will be a performance of their new album in full, followed by a selection of their greatest hits after the interval. Along with their show at the Big Chill festival, these will be Sparks only two UK Festival shows this summer.

Tickets for this show cost £22.50 + £2.50 booking fee from the Ferneham Hall Box Office (telephone 01329 231942), or is included as part of the Festival to weekend ticket holders. They'll be a bus laid on to transport festival goers from the festival site to Ferneham Halls.

For festival tickets holders that don't fancy seeing Sparks, there'll still be entertainment at the festival site, with Richard Thompson, Shooglenifty and Los Pacaminos (with Paul Young) all appearing on the Wickham stages on Friday 4 August.

Other acts over the weekend include Oysterband, Seth Lakeman, Steeleye Span, Osibisa, Flook, and more - click here for the full details available so far.

Tickets for the festival are priced at £60 before 1st May, or £70 after, for the weekend. Day tickets cost from £20 to £25 (dependant on day), with under-10s free, and tickets also available for those aged 11-16. Click here to buy online.
