Hayseed Dixie added to Endorse-It In-Dorsetplus Here & NowMonday 27th February 2006Endorse-It In-Dorset, the 3-day camping festival which takes place from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th August in Dorset has added two more acts to the line-up. Added to the Saturday are Hayseed Dixie, who'll be bringing their unique brand of bumpkin metal to the Saturday. Also newly confirmed are old-time free-festival favourites Here & Now, making a rare festival appearance on the Sunday alongside other acts who'll enable festie goers to re-live the vibes of legendary festivals like Stonehenge. (With such a top-draw line-up it might mean that 'This Time' maybe I will [work it out for yourself, maaan] They join the acts already confirmed, which include ex-Specials frontman Neville Staple, Pronghorn, and Nucleus Roots on the Friday, Eat Static (2-hour set), and The Beat on the Satuday, and Mad Professor, The Cracked Actors, The Highliners, RDF/Military Surplus, Senser, and Dub Dadda, with many more still to be announced for the weekend. Tickets go on sale this Wednesday (1st March), priced at £55 (adult 3-day with camping) or £20 for those aged 10-15yrs, and £3 for under 10's (handling fee mainly). Campervans cost £5. There's also Family tickets (2 adult, 2 kids 15 or under) at £140, tho please note there are a strictly limited amount of Family and Kids tickets. They are expecting these to sell out very quickly, due to the fact that they have tried to keep the price for kids/families down - when these tickets have gone, only adult tickets will be available. ![]() Because of it's growing popularity, the festival is moving to a new and bigger site, with a bigger kids area, a comedy session, stripey-jumper walkabout theatre, food, beer, stalls, tipi hire, loadsa loos, a family camping area, healing area, chill-out area - all the usual. eFestivals is pleased to again be the main sponsor of Endorse-It In-Dorset. This is part of eFestivals' commitment to put 10% of our turnover back into festivals, making festivals better for us all. published: 11:48 (GMT)
