It looks like there'll be a variety of festivals held in Hyde Park this summer.

On the website of The International Roger Waters FanClub - normally a very reliable source - it says Roger Waters will play a number of outdoor shows around Europe this summer, with the one UK gig being part of the multi-artist 'Calling Festival' in Hyde Park on Friday 30th June.

With David Gilmour recently confirming that Pink Floyd have joined the dodo, Roger Waters is now the closest it's possible to get to Pink Floyd, as anyone who experienced his fantastic performance at Glastonbury 2002 will know.

According to the website, at least one of Roger's summer shows (in Berlin) will include a very special rendition of the classic "Dark Side Of The Moon", said to be a previously unheard "extended version" of the concept album, which Waters said he was not able to realize in the early 70's due to technical prohibitions, and will be the main part of a concert. It goes on "of course other songs by Roger Waters and Pink Floyd will also be played".

At present, a spokesperson for Roger Waters is unable to confirm if the details on The International Roger Waters FanClub website are correct.
