Dirty Pretty Things - fronted by ex-Libertine Carl Barat - are the latest act confirmed for the Isle of Wight Festival, which takes place from Friday 9th June until Sunday 11th June 2006 at Seaclose Park Newport, Isle of Wight.
They've been added to the Saturday, joining Primal Scream, Editors, The Kooks, and the 747's, on that day, with the Saturday headline act still to be announced.
Also newly confirmed are Brighton band The Upper Room, who'll open the festival on the Friday. They join the other acts already confirmed - all play on the Friday, and are The Prodigy, Placebo, Goldfrapp and The Rakes. Many more acts will be announced over the coming weeks.
Tickets are on sale, priced at £85 for the three days (under-12yrs £42.50), and £105 with camping (under-12yrs £52.50), with campervans an extra £60 (per vehicle). To buy, click here.
