There's more to Glastonbury than the Glastonbury Festival - there's also the Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza, which is also run by Michael Eavis.
It takes place this weekend at Glastonbury Abbey, and costs £25 (in advance - see below) for each evening, or £30 on the gate (if there's tickets available when the gates open at 5:30pm), and each night is finished off by a firework display.
This year, the Friday has Joss Stone, supported by the half Icelandic and half Italian Emiliana Torrini, and singer/songwriter Foy Vance from Northern Ireland.
The Corelli Quartet will entertain the audience as they arrive on the Saturday, followed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (with conductor Brian Wright and featuring local tenor Tim Pitman), who'll perform a medley of popular classics, from Puccini to Gershwin and Sebelius to Handel, with Elgar's "Pomp and Circumstance March" prior to the interval. Then comes Nigel Kennedy (supported by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Pieter Daniel), with a performance of Elgar's "Violin Concerto in B minor Opus 61".
Sunday has the Olivier award nominated show, "Frank, Sammy & Dean - The Rat Pack Live From Las Vegas", bringing the singing heritage of three world famous entertainers and performers - Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jnr and Dean Martin.
