The Black Velvets added to Isle of Wight

Isle of Wight Festival Isle of Wight Festival 2005

Liverpool band The Black Velvets have been added to the Friday of the Isle of Wight Festival. They join the other bands already confirmed for that day, Faithless, Razorlight, Supergrass and Idlewild.

The Saturday has Morrissey and Roxy Music, while Sunday has a line-up of R.E.M., Snow Patrol, Embrace, The Magic Numbers, The Subways, and Caravan. More acts will be added over the coming weeks.

Tickets are on sale, priced at £35 for any day, £75 for the weekend, and £90 for the weekend with camping - click here to buy.

The Isle of Wight Festival takes place from Friday 10th until Sunday 12th June, at Seaclose Park, Newport, on the Isle of Wight.
