De La Soul and more Wed 16th Mar 05 Another mix of UK and USA acts have been confirmed for the Nokia Urban Music Festival with The Prince’s Trust, being held at London's Earls Court on 16th/17th April. Added to the Saturday (in alphabetical order) are Akon, De La Soul, Faith Evans, Killa Kela, Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz, Nathan, and The Stix. Sunday has added Jon B, Lady Sovereign, Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz, Nate James, as well as three of the UK's leading beatboxers - Shlomo, THePETEBOX, and TyTe. The Prince’s Trust offers practical solutions to help young people get their lives working, and the UMF will be hosting workshops in breakdancing, MCing, beatboxing, music production and DJ skills as well as new for 2005 an Artist Advice workshop. The Nokia Urban Marketplace will feature businesses from urban clothing to music magazines, including a number of Prince’s Trust supported businesses to highlight the positive support offered by the youth charity.
