We mentioned to beware of other reports of the licence hearing.
OK, so it's a minor matter ... but still, the BBC and just about everyone else misreported the vote for the licence at the hearing last night, whilst eFestivals did not.
As we correctly reported, the vote was 12 for the granting of a licence, and none against. This has been confirmed to us today by Mendip District Council.
There are only 14 members of the Licencing Board: 12-4 would have been impossible. One member of the board was absent from the meeting last night, and so one of those present must have abstained.
