Wychwood Festival - the new world and roots festival, happening at Cheltenham Racecourse in Gloucestershire from 3rd to 5th June 2005 - has confirmed a few more acts.

Added to the Friday are Candido Fabre Y Su Banda, and The Shrine Syncho System Feat. Max Reinhardt and Rita Ray. Just confirmed to head up the DJs on Saturday is Gilles Peterson, while Bollywood Brass Band, and Susanna and the Magical Orchestra, are both added to the Sunday.

They join a line-up that includes Steve Earle as Saturday headliner, and Alabama 3 as Sunday headliner, and others such as Mory Kante, Show of Hands, Eliza Cathy The Angel Brothers, Baka Beyond, and more. For the full list (including days), see here.

The festival will have over 40 bands and DJs across three stages, from world music, folk music, and the rock world. They'll also be cinema (from Groovie Movie), workshops, poetry, and more. The festival will also raise money for Oxfam.
